Do anything special if you want to go straight to formula after birth?

Op here. The Sudafed gave me heart palpitations. It was scary. I started pumping because I’m scared I’m going to get mastitis. Wish they gave a shot. It looks like they do this in UK still.

Sage tea worked well for me. There are milk drying tea formulas too

Congratulations on your new baby. Hope the Sudafed has worn off.

Op here. I ordered cabbage cream from Amazon and I’ve been using ice. I also stopped pumping. I pumped for less than 24 hours. Hope I don’t get an infection. It was a hard decision but know for my physical health and mental health it’s a better choice. I’m having a hard time sitting due to joint pain and hemorrhoids.

Don't they have a shot for that?

No pumping, no expression of any sort, just wore a tight sports bra for a week and had no pain or issues.

I did absolutely nothing at all and it was fine. Actually way less uncomfortable than with the babies I breastfed. I think because he never latched and I never pumped or anything my milk didn't really come in strong. I was surprised because I've had oversupply with previous babies and I was anticipating it to be awful.

Op here. I’m doing okay. I bought a cabbage cream from Amazon and have been taking pain meds around the clock. It’s not comfortable sleeping because my breasts are so swollen but it’s better than sleeping pregnant.
