For bat bites, you need to remember that you don’t necessarily feel their bites. If you have been in a room with a bat and especially if you slept in a room with a bat, you need to get rabies shots.

I have never heard of "bat bugs"

Bats are great. They keep the mosquito population down. Definitely don't want them in the house, but nearby bats in nature are wonderful
