Hopefully that won't be the case in July. But at least a doula can still work with a mom at home so that she doesn't rush to the hospital too early.

Only through March, and only at certain hospitals. For now, specifically, it is the INOVA hospitals which are only allowing just one support person. All other hospitals are allowing one (or two or more) people PLUS the doula.
