Organized Pick-up for 2012’s - 2014’s

OP here...thanks for the feedback. I will incorporate these into putting together something. I will stick to The Fields at RFK and SoFive in Rockville for now. My son recently played at SoFive where ORGANIZED pickup takes place for adults but is not available for kids. He loved the venue. We will just have to rent a space for him to play and invite kids his age which is ORGANIZED although parents will be required to sit down, grab a beer and gossip amongst themselves. After the first few sessions, I am going to attempt to split the rental costs after the few sessions which will be labeled as a money grab but you can't ever please the DCUM crowd. We tried pickups locally but there is not enough kids interested in our neighborhood but I will use these ideas and start again beginning with all of the people we have played with. Thanks again for the feedback!

OP, let me know when you take your son to SoFive Rockville for pickups and open for guest player. I have a 2012 and he plays up and would love to do some pickups the next 2 weeks before spring season starts up.

Fwiw, rfk heavily polices their pickup if it looks too organized. They will make you pull a 200 buck permit. The open play hours are posted on their website and it is heavily scheduled

Not pp, but my kid joins games at Hammond Middle school frequently. He is 10 and usually the youngest by a couple years. But has said the lights there sometimes don't come on.
