I've heard this too, but I have a king size bed and literally cannot buy a larger insert. I suppose I could use the king duvet and a queen cover but then it would all be too small for my bed. |
OP here. I addressed all of this in my original post. Yes corner ties are tied. Yes I do all the shaking and redistribution - that helps a little, but it's still looking sloppy. At least my bed is comfy, just looks bad. Finding great solidarity here in everyone else chiming in with the same gripe! |

| I the re-fluffer poster. I have to add that I use a coverlet on my bed and fold (in thirds) the duvet with insert at the bottom of my bed. |
