The Yarvins should at all times be married and have 20-something grad students there to provide narcissistic supply at all times. When they hit their midlife crises they can be sent on a relaxing sabbatical to Rome to drink wine, pontificate, and take the sun; rather than sitting in their dark basements and turning neo-reactionary through reading Italian fascist philosophy. It’s probably unfortunately important that they be allowed to sleep with/marry their grad students as this will proved the necessary socialization and distraction needed.

So you're saying that the problem with the woke left is that it makes these far right wing nutjobs viable.
It's not because the woke actually do significant harm to society?

No babe. We’re saying the “woke left” isn’t doing anything significant at all.

I just listen to a Curtis Yarvin’s interview. This is who is offered up as a conservative intellectual?? The man is a moron. His knowledge is history is terrible and his “philosophy” is amateurish almost like he a high first year philosophy undergrad. I actually want the time back I wasted listening to his vapid musings. Silicon Valley needs to focus on making computers/technology and leave the political science to someone else. Techbros are overly confident in their abilities.

Seems like Curtis' ideologies are gaining momentum. Heather Cox Richardson did a very interesting interview with Gil Duran. Well worth the listen.

The tech bros are megalomaniacs who want to live forever and be demigods. This idea is very appealing to them.

But I completely agree that Curtis is a moron, and I have no idea how he ever got the momentum he did.

Just read the New Yorker profile this week, and +1

It’s just his ridiculous poses trying to look attractive. It’s so beta and lame.

Yeah but the Trump administration is toying with the idea of implementing some of their insane ideas.
