Is Crater Lake a must see?

19:49 again. Fun fact: we went this past July and there was still a tiny bit of snow in a couple of spot. Enough to make a few snowballs and let the dog roll around and cool off.

We went 20-ish years ago when we lived in Portland. It is beautiful, but what I remember most is the mosquitos. I’ve never seen so many mosquitos.

We did a trip that was Bend, Crater Lake, Cannon Beach, Portland. Very doable.

I will say that I actually cried when I saw Crater Lake, and that is out of character for me. It was the most stunningly beautiful site I have ever seen.

We did this same trip and it was awesome. But I think combining this with Olympic is too much driving for one trip
