Coffee beans for coffee lover

Whole Foods has a pretty decent selection and their beans turn over regularly (so they are generally fresh). I agree with the folks who said to look for a medium roast. Also good to look for single source (beans from one location) vs. a blend.

I know someone who is a snob about coffee and wine and they were very happy with Blue a Blue Bottle coffee gift

If you want to get something really fancy there's Hula Daddy Coffee from Hawaii. Very pricey stuff, though.

I got my Dad coffee from the Awesome Coffee Club because he's a big fan of Paul Farmer's work and all the proceeds go to Partners in Health.

Two just way out there suggestions.
