NBMS students left with no teacher or sub - is that normal?

I'm not normally a squeaky wheel but it seems ridiculous to me that this class could not be covered, if not by a substitute then by another adult in the building. Thoughts?

Did you call the school to inquire about it?

I would write the principal. It's important they know that parents are aware of this safety lapse.

I did not -- was kind of checking the temperature of others on whether or not this was a little deal, or a big deal. Seems little, but now I'll shoot an appropriate heads-up note to the school.

Thanks all.

Outrageous. Your school board doesn’t care about the safety of students.

Teacher was out and whatever teacher was called to cover last minute didn't check their email or get the slip on time. It happens, not a lot, but it happens. Next time, the kids should hit the call button or get the next door teacher.
