South Korea. Also, the French government was hit with no confidence. All in all, the US is in okay shape- or at least running with the pack. |
It can, but it's not likely. What is more likely is that some individual offices will be closed. I have a friend in an federal office in the crosshairs of Project 2025. |
You’re giving the DOGE bros way too much credit. |
| I plan to keep working and ignore the crazy. |
| Your agency may get killed or functions will be simply transferred to different agencies. You may have to move (if your function is moved) or find another job. |
| But it won't happen by EO. |
Possibly, but you won’t be packing up your bags on January 21st. It won’t happen that quickly, if at all. So chill. |
They can’t close agencies by executive order or even regulation. Agencies are created by statute and funded by statute. Some even have statutory requirements for their locations. And Trump’s “nominees” aren’t even nominated yet, let alone confirmed, so they can’t take over on day 1 either. The freak out is way too early. Chill. |

I don’t think a fed wrote this. The terms used are all so wrong. It’s just someone trolling.
The president doesn’t have this kind of power. |
I agree in theory. But also, the point is chaos. So I do think it’s possible they could send some agency a letter like that. Then, whether they actually have jobs or not would work its way through the court. But what happens in the meantime? I honestly vacillate from thinking nothing will happen because these guys don’t know how to work in government to everything is on the table because they don’t care if they blow it all up. I guess we shall see. |
Not a Troll, just a lowly IT worker at EPA… I don’t write policy or really get into the Govt side of things, I just keep a network of environmental monitoring systems running and love working to help the planet. |
probably the jobs remain and everything keeps going on while it works its way through court. |
stop giving billionaire losers what they want -- your anxiety, panic, and attention. |
| Y’all are overreacting. |
Well I grew up pretty poor and have no safety net other than our own savings, and the tech market is not hiring and definitely not hiring 52 year old former Feds… |
