Deciding between two bags Chanel and Celine

They’re both tacky. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t get one! But if tacky means that the logos are everywhere and there are fakes and people we might find distasteful love flashing them, then both of those brands are definitely tacky.

I liked these when they first came out but sooo many dupes like the Jodi. Not sure anymore. On the Celine the logo is discreet so not sure what previous poster meant?

+1 about the visible logos on the Chanel bag. Also, Chanel's reputation was hurt a bit by the movie about Dior, which showed just how much in bed (literally) Coco was with the Nazis.

I just vacationed with someone who used that Celine most of the time. Different color. I’m not a designer bag person so I had no idea what it was. I just thought it looked pretty.

If she’d been sporting that Chanel instead, I think it would have seemed kind of “loud” and label-focused.
