I would have a baker create more than one type of cake (I'd plan for 3 depending on the sizes of the cakes/layers).

Ugh I just learned DH paid $65 for a Mother's Day cake from Fluffy Thoughts. For a 6" funfetti cake w/ white frosting and sprinkles.
