Yup! MCPS admin are professional gaslighters and liars. OSSI is dangerous.

This is why the apple cart is being upset and Diaz will win next time.
People think it's about McKnight but it's because you can't gaslight people in the age of social media
The whole school system is despicable

Wheaton students have PE classes on the softball field. Parks and planning mow the grass. It’s school property. But sure, downplay a gun transfer during a fight on school grounds by saying the field is maintained by parks and planning.

To pretend otherwise is offensive. Shocker. Assistant Principal Sandi Williams probably was the hero…

It is simply a factual statement that the field is parks property. Obviously Wheaton students regularly use the field as it is right there. This is true at many schools adjacent to parks.

quote=Anonymous]On Monday night, the Wheaton HS principal sent this message out regarding an incident near the HS:

At approximately 10:30 am, a small group of students left the Wheaton High School campus to go to the adjacent softball field, owned by Maryland-National Capital Parks & Planning Commission. While at the softball field this group of students engaged in a physical altercation, leaving one student injured. The injured student returned to campus to seek medical attention for his injuries. We immediately contacted the Montgomery County Police and at the advisement of our school nurse, called for emergency medical services.

Last night, they sent this update:
I am writing to follow up on the message shared with you last night regarding the serious incident that took place at the softball field adjacent to our campus. Since my last message, the school administration has been made aware of a video circulating on social media that shows the student fight. In the video, it appears that a gun was present and was taken from the victim during the fight.
The police have been informed of this incident and are actively investigating.

If the kids left Wheaton and went straight to the park (which seems to be what the principal is implying) then does that mean someone had a gun on them while in school? Will MCPS really tell us the truth if indeed this is the case? Does anyone know how we can get more info as the school will just tell us it’s under investigation…..

We found the solution to guns in schools!

Sell the land and rent the schools back. No guns on school property!
