Half of a piece of pizza at ymca program

I would just send them with a lunchbox.

you're a teacher and you don't know how to spell " paid"?

Why is everyone such a mean trumpet on this thread?

You have to complain to the YMCA: their staff that day shortchanged the kids for their own benefit.

And you have to complain to your school, that the childcare they subsidized has quality issues.

No one should ever pizza. That's terribly unhealthy. You should pack your kids healthy foods. Don’t eat institutional junk.

As soon as I sent it, I realized what I typed, but it was too late to fix it.

I’m not upset about not being allowed to bring my kids to work. I’m asking if I it is reasonable for school age kids to only have half a slice of pizza for their lunch.

You would be surprised at how many adults are eating disordered and have no idea how much children should be eating.

Just send them with a lunch next time. Problem solved.

Because DCUM hates teachers, and by extension their children.

It’s not reasonable at all. You need to talk to the y management. Or tell them f it and send them with a lunch box.

Send food or find someone where else for them to go.

This. It sounds like the staff made a plan to serve themselves lunch from the kids' food.

No, of course half a slice of pizza isn’t enough. No, you shouldn’t have been bringing your kids to work on a professional development day.

Was that for lunch or one of the snacks?

We always cut Pizza with a scissors. I have designated pizza scissors in my house. Surprised You don’t know people who do this. It’s so much easier than a pizza cutter.
