Does Walls look at the feeder school?

Having no Bs at BASIS, Latin, or Deal is much more impressive than no Bs at Cardozo, Mundo Verde or Two Rivers.

Yes, to make sure they have variety, but they won't admit it.

Mundo Verde doesn't have a middle school btw. They feed to DCI.

My kid didn't get an interview, by the way.

I’m confused. The lottery hasn’t opened yet.

PP here. My kid is currently a 10th grader at Banneker, which was fortunately 1st choice anyway.

Deal doesn't grade hard. Lots of 4.0s there.

They don’t look at middle schools. Something like 60-70% of the freshman class is from Deal and Hardy. That doesn’t seem like much variety to me!

Nope.

That is one reason the admissions process at Walls is so dumb.

Let me make sure to add "is much more impressive" to our totally objective admissions process. Sure it will 'improve' it for you.

How would the school quantify a B at BASIS versus a B at Two Rivers?
