Washing hands before lunch

It is crazy. in the winter especially that the schools don't do this. The "wasted" time of handwashing would be saved by quality of life, and hey, maybe less absences due to sickness?

Why do we stop caring because the kids are at school. Don't you all wash hands before eating.
FWIW I put wet wipes in my kids lunch.

But we are dealing with no soap/papertowels in bathrooms too.
