Gifts are hard

Tickets to a sporting event and lunch downtown? Maybe a ticket to invite a friend?

My DD, 12, is somewhat like, i.e., not into material possessions and the sports and art she does outside of school largely includes supplies and/or equipment. We do experiences, i.e., play tickets, or I put candy boxes with a gift card to the movies in it, gift card for books, Escape Room with a friend coupon, and/or a mug, hot chocolate, and gift card to Starbucks. At one point I did an ornament of a cookie and gift card to Levain. I don't spend that much on her but I no longer worry about it and enjoy the holiday season. She always seems content no matter what she gets and will likely speak up if she really wants something.

Sounds like your kids have too much stuff. My teen boy sends me a list with links after searching for the best price.
