I’m assuming it’s generic but not chance anyone there supports Trump. The Cathedral is very inclusive as is the Episcopal faith

The Washington National Cathedral. If you are not interested in these events (no, this is not new this year), why not just move along. No need to be nasty.

Religion haters gotta hate.

I am not a religion hater I am a member of another denomination with a Cathedral.

NP here, I've never heard of another Cathedral in DC.

A Cathedral is where the bishop’s chair is. Saint Matthew’s Cathedral is on Rhode Island Avenue, and is the seat of the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Washington.

There are also 3 Orthodox Cathedrals in DC, St. Sophia which is Greek Orthodox, St Nicholas which is OCA, and St. John the Baptist which is Russian Orthodox.

There are also two Catholic cathedrals - the Cathedral of St Matthew and the Basilica of the National Shrine.

While some Basilicas are Cathedrals, the one in DC is not as it is not the seat of a bishop. St Matthew is the seat of the archbishop of Washington.

I attend the Basilica, but when someone says The Cathedral, I know which one they’re talking about.

Thanks for posting, OP.
