Another datapoint: at KKI we had a follow up meeting and were able to email provider with an additional question afterward. One thing to note - KKI gives only one version of report, I wanted to edit out one part for the school and got pushback that they only give 1 version of report.
OP, it sounds like what your provider is proposing is an outlier compared to the industry standards. Point it out to them and see if they cave. To me, inability to ask provider questions based on the report would be a no-go territory.
