Costco pizzas? Wwyd?

Yes, another vote for just cheese if you can only provide one type. Pepperoni is problematic for many people.

Oh, perfect! I’m glad I asked! Thanks for this.
It's actually not perfect. The people I know who do not eat pork, would not eat off a half pepperoni pizza/half cheese pizza.

It’s one lunch, not the only meal they’ll ever eat.

Planet Earth. Most people like pepperoni.

Are you stupid or just being deliberately obtuse.

That is harsh. NP.

Many hate pork. I do. Many do not eat pork or meat in general. They do not want meat juice (orange GREASE, in the case of pepperoni) on their half of the cheese pizza.

One might ask if you are indeed, stu***.

Thanks everyone! I’ll order just cheese. I’m glad I asked because I wrongly assumed pepperoni was the best option! DCUM saved the day again!

I'd choose cheese only in your situation.

Anonymous wrote:I need to order 5 of those giant Costco pizzas to serve as part of a lunch banquet tomorrow. There will mainly be adults attending, plus some preschool-aged children tagging along with parents. Considering table space and the size of these pizzas, I’m considering only ordering JUST pepperoni pies, or JUST cheese pies.

When serving, I thought of stacking the boxes, and rotating empties to underneath the others. This is as opposed to dominating space with both boxes of cheese and pepperoni. (I hope this makes sense!)

I’m assuming pepperoni is safest and any children who might have pizza can have the pepperoni removed if they don’t care for it. If not, there will be other basic options available (sandwiches, chips, cookies, fruit, veggies.)

Which would you order?

I would never serve a meal like this for any group of people. It sounds awful, heavy, and greasy.

Their pepperoni tastes better than plain cheese. Personally I’d do 3 pep and 2 cheese. You may want to go to dominoes as well and add a GF pizza too. My child part of a group where kids get pizza once a week (100+ kids) and I help serve it. Pepperoni always runs out first.

Ok a$$hat you clearly can’t read. She said pepperoni was the safest choice. It’s NEVER going to be the safest choice. On Earth or any other planet.

Cheese is the safe choice.

Of course some people will prefer pepperoni, but they will usually accept cheese if it's the only option.

People who won't eat meat or pork, or just don't like pepperoni, will generally not be OK with picking it off. It's baked on, and the pepperoni grease is all over - you'll never get it all off, it tastes like pepperoni even if you pick the pieces off. Will vegetarians be OK with pork fat drizzled all over their pizza?

Why would do 1/2 if you are getting multiple pizza's? It looks bad on an organizer to not have something people can eat.

I'd never feed Costco cheese or pepperoni pizza to adults. The veggie option is the best. I do agree that you need some plain cheese for the kids. I'm shocked so many think you should get pepperoni. What is there are Jewish folks in attendance?
Anonymous
I’d order the cheese option.

I don’t understand why you can order some cheese and some pepperoni. Please someone explain this to me!

Dear God, I can't believe you people would pay money for a cheese pizza.

Just put some cheese and bread on the table and let the sun do the rest. Ooh! Room temp cheese on bread! Yum!

Meat lovers pizza or Supreme - otherwise, there is literally no point in ordering pizza at all.

PSA: Jewish, Muslims, and even some Christians avoid pork for religious reasons. Some people avoid pork for other reasons. And some people don't eat any meat at all!

I'm glad OP understands this after reading the other responses, but I am shocked at the number of posters that think it's ok to get food that alienates so many people.
