Neighbor keeps "borrowing" my newspaper

Anonymous
This has happened to me (rowhouse owner, someone got in the habit of stealing it from our front).

I stopped delivery for a week or two to break their habit.

When I restarted delivery, they stopped.

Gross! Doesn't your lobby have a camera for security reasons? Go out super early again for a run and slip a note in your paper.

Yeah, I had to check the year date on the OP. I thought someone might have restarted a post from 2008 or so.

The worst part is the high probability that the returned paper has been in someone's bathroom. Some people need good reading material.

Just buy a digital subscription. You can even splurge on an iPad or a more economical Fire tablet to read on the go (or in the bathroom).

The Post used to have lockable canvas bags for this problem that were used by carriers. I had it when I lived in apartments. It's worth calling customer service about.

This is my thought too. Someone pooped while reading it. Gross.

Personally I think WaPo isn’t worth reading anymore but if you insist then I think a camera is the only solution. And obviously get it if you see it. Maybe they saw you walk right by it and decided you didn’t care about it.

With this advice re environmental repercussions, I take it you have zero kids and walk everywhere and grow all your food. Got it.
