small catered lunch - baby shower

I guess I was thinking a restaurant versus an individual caterer. I am in Bethesda and no budget although not a mini wedding .

So far places I have found online offer “1/2 or full trays” which for only 15 people means two trays is more than enough food, but it doesn’t feel like the variety is sufficient. This is what I am struggling with. Maybe this means I need a caterer, or maybe it means I should do a variety of finger foods like a PP suggested. I’ll check Balduccis as a pp suggested. Thanks for all leads and suggestions!

I purposely included in my post that my friend, whose daughter is the one who is pregnant, is happy with this plan. I assumed it would be inferred that her daughter is, too, who is a lovely, appreciative and gracious person. We are a close group of friends and adore the mother to be, who no longer lives in this area but will be back visiting her mom on the weekend I plan to host this.
