Are you nuts

You seem to know little to nothing about diabetes, high blood pressure, coronary artery disease, and stroke. Not to mention joint pain, loss of mobility, social stigma from being obese. I could go on.

I have no trouble getting Mounjaro.

Or course, I have the disease it is intended to treat and am not someone looking to take a short cut to lose a few vanity pounds.

You don't have to justify why your dr prescribed it. That is between you and your dr, like womens health care.

GLP-1s have cancer increase risk just like HRT. Cherry picking research doesn't make the risks go away.

No...not the same at all.

Yes, having diabetes makes you a better person than people trying to avoid diabetes (or heart attack). Enjoy your trophy, I guess.

The compounded version offers far more flexibility as well. You can split doses 2x a week and/or titrate up/down in smaller increments. With Mounjaro, you’re limited by those jackass pens and hoping your dosage is one that’s available.

It's a new class of drugs with no long term data so you are rolling the dice. I expect it will become harder to see my doctor's as more people get diagnosed with thyroid cancers.

There are many years of data from use in diabetics.

They have a cancer risk, but the question is whether they lower overall cancer risk because of the reduction in obesity, which is a much greater cancer risk.

You're at far more risk of stroke and heart disease from untreated obesity.

My endocrinologist and cardiologist agree.

No. It isn't.

My doctor won't prescribe to a compounding pharmacy because of how unsafe it is given the lack of regulation. Safety has not been verified with these compounded meds.

Get a new doctor. Plenty will prescribe.
