I needed to certify online that I had taken the parent presentation and that my kid had done the requisite hours driving with me. Then idrivesmart certifies with dmv and then they will mail you the permit.
Just call them.
I emailed them and they told me that I had to wait. Apparently there is a three month window for the license to come. And they didn’t send in his paperwork until two weeks after he finished the last lesson, apparently. Maybe that is normal and how it works for everyone, and it was just an issue for us. In Arlington, if that matters. Been too busy between work for me and college apps for kid to go to DMV to try to get it sorted.
