How would you order this pizza

The store doesn’t want to nickel and dime her. The employees just don’t care.

If I was working at PJ’s I wouldn’t care about much…

Expect to pay extra for the doubled pepperoni.

+1. It’s a papa
John’s. The workers are not expending energy to spite you over extra pepperoni.

People are forever mistaking apathy for malice. I’ve come to realize that as people get older, they get personally offended by the fact that OTHER people do not care as much as they do. OP, I think you tried to communicate what you wanted just fine, but they didn’t care.

Agreed! Also, the pepperoni on one half will be a problem for vegetarians as the oil will spread throughout the whole pie.

DH likes a ton of pepperoni.
DD only likes cheese.

I asked them to put all the pepperoni that they would have used on the entire pizza on one side only, and the other half would just be cheese.

They gave me a half cheese, half pepperoni pizza.

How should I have ordered this? I did talk to a person because the online pull downs won't allow this configuration.

Help me communicate better.
Thank you.

Let your husband and DD order the pizza. Why are you even involved?

This. I get OPs point but for the extra $2 or whatever I'd just order the extra pepperoni. They probably didn't pay attention to the directions from OP.

This is where I come out. But, if it's really the only option, for $10.99 I'd order two freakin' pizzas. Life's too short to stress about stuff like this.

Hanlon's Razor applies here. Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity.

Did you tip before or after you saw the pizza?

This.

I would have just gotten a pepperoni pizza and then ordered a small cheese. Freeze the leftovers for next time.

This -- either get the half pepperoni or order 2 pizzas. You are overthinking this.
