Neither of my kids liked pizza until around 8-9. So there’s still hope for your young ones!

I wish mine liked sushi….mainly because I like sushi and rarely get to eat it.

Be careful what you wish for. Sushi is my teen son's favorite food and he eats a lot. We can't get take out for less than $150 , and this is for a regular neighborhood sushi restaurant, not high end

Eggs, any form. A vegetarian child that doesn’t eat eggs is a true pain.

For the other stuff, have hope PPs. I push her HARD and really get into the psychology of WHY it’s important for her to eat a variety of foods and foods that aren’t her favorites. And it’s helped. Starting in first or second grade I told her it was her job to overcome her food fears and my job to make her. And it’s working and she’s so much more open than she used to be. Time helps, but don’t give up or turn it into a matter of force.

My kids wouldn’t eat pizza or cake, which actually was a good thing long term. Until I made homemade pizza with them, now it’s a Favorite Food.

Tread carefully here. My younger one didn’t like pizza until I started making it at home too. Then one day she remembered she doesn’t like pizza and stopped eating it again, even homemade, and hasn’t had it in almost 10 years. She’s 16 now.
The rest of us LOVE pizza so we still have it pretty often, just make something else for her (she usually takes care of that).

+1 on pizza. My life would have been so much easier if we could get a pizza for the whole family once in a while

Where do I start? PB&J, sandwiches of any kind, more vegetables than carrots, cucumbers and roasted cauliflower, anything with a sauce or mixed together like chicken pot pie, cottage pie, or enchiladas.

On the plus side he eats marinaded and grilled chicken, fish and steak, burgers, pizza and pasta. He would live on starchy carbs alone if I let him. He will also eat most fruit.

My kids will eat anything but they are gourmets. They don't love leftovers, they like variety, and my dh will not touch a sandwich, ever. I personally would just eat grapes, charcuterie and cheese every night and be perfectly happy.

DC is an excellent water. Can we do husbands instead?

Meat has to be well done and dry.

Chicken must be breaded and fried.

He picks vegetables off.

He cannot join the Clean Plate Club.

When he eats soup he gulps a lot of air and gets violent hiccups.

Eggplant. I love eggplant parmigiana and mostly eat it at restaurants because I just can’t have a huge tray in my house.

+1 -- my kid eat PB&J but not pizza. I get why the PB&J would be annoying because it's such an easy meal or snack but at least there are substitutes that are pretty equally easy -- yogurt and granola or crackers and cheese for instance.

For us pizza night means having to have a separate meal available for our kid who just refuses to eat pizza which is a bummer. At least soon she'll be able to make her mac & cheese (or PB&J!) herself. But that doesn't work if we want to go out for pizza.

Once she asked me when the "trend" of people serving pizza at parties will end and I was like "Uh never because pizza is one of those foods that almost everyone likes." She was said but who knows maybe she'll finally cave and find a way to like it? I can dream.

My kid wanted her birthday party at a pizza place but had to have the appetizer chicken to eat. What?!
