Grand reopening my ass - Amazon Fresh

I don't have Prime so I don't shop at While Foods or Fresh since I can't get the sales Plenty of grocery stores to choose from.

We’re allegedly getting an Amazon Fresh at the new White Oak center in Silver Spring.
Originally it was gonna be a Trader Joe’s, then Amazon fresh, then neither of those now back to Amazon fresh…….

The staff there have always been nice but it is hit or miss. It had a weird vibe when it was a Giant too.

That was part of the just walk out shopping Amazon was trying to get to work. They couldn't make it work.

I don’t get the hate. The staff there are nice and helpful. The store has had episodes of vandalism and a car drove into it some months ago causing a decent amount of damage. I happened to be there to pick up milk the day of the grand opening and sure, it wasn’t anything special but I appreciate that they want a fresh start.
They use dash carts which necessitate extra cameras. I use prime and will happily take the convenience of just scanning items into my cart and walking out in return for extra cameras. Happy to take the extra discounts too!

Are we talking about the store in Friendship Heights or the one at Chevy Chase Lake?

An AFresh at that location? Why? There's already a TJ on Colesville.

I live quite close to this store and had no idea that there was a grand reopening!

I go in there on occasion and they usually have what I need, but i'd never be able to do an entire week's worth of shopping there.

DP - I’ve been twice only for the purposes of buying two specific items (root beer being one of them) it had (don’t know if it’s changed since I went) the vibe of a glorified convenience store rather than a grocery store.
