+1, show me a chubby chef and I guarantee they’re a great cook.

I’m so glad you clarified that you meant business owners who sell desserts. I’m a dog breeder. I don’t want to eat what I sell.

Seriously though, it’s not a treat if you’re around it all day. If you spend 40+ hours a week designing, planning, cooking, and decorating a select group of foods, it’s not very pleasant to have your meals revolve around that food too. Plus if they eat it all, they’d have nothing to sell.

How did this get stuck in your craw? Are you trying to lose weight and feel disheartened because the people selling your vice to you are thinner than you? Are you thin from berries and salads and you finally decided to give dessert a go but the shop owners can’t recommend the tastiest treat for you to do this one time splurge because they also only eat berries and salads, and now you’re frustrated? Talk to us. We can help.

My kids dislike the birthday cakes and cupcakes served at their friends’ parties. All the colorants, and artificial sugar in it make it taste like antibiotics.

Do your kids own a bakery?

Cooks don’t need to sample everything they cook every single day. Also, who says the checkout clerk is the cook?

Because they don't want to get fat.

It’s similar to a lot of Food Network hosts. Look at Bobby Flay and Giada Dilaurentis (sp?). No matter what you think of them as TV hosts, both are fantastic chefs/cooks. Both look like to be in great shape and probably don’t eat most of what they cook. That said, I don’t know how you can’t eat what you cook. I’m a hack in the kitchen, but always need to sample while cooking to check flavors and seasoning.

What do antibiotics taste like? Did you mean preservatives?

Most Americans are fat, and I wouldn't eat at most of their homes.

Oh no…we’ll all be crying ourselves to sleep tonight, surely

Because they don't want to be obese and diabetic.

I don't care what you do.
