What if the next flight is fully booked?

I’ve had very tight connections at both airports multiple times, and would prefer to deal with MSP. Even in winter.

I flew threw here 6 weeks ago. It is a small airport and not crowded (like Denver).

It is nothing like the crowds of Denver or the crowds of Atlanta.

I'd try it.

It was so pleasant compared to Denver and Atlanta I'll try to route my western flights through MSP in the future.

MSP is an airport with a central core and then piers off it. Getting from one gate to the next should be easy - you will walk to the center and back out an adjacent pier.

If it were me I'd pay for a premium economy seat to be closer to the front of the plane - I get those seats for free on United and American but when I am flying Delta and have a tight connection it is worth the peace of mind not to have to worry about the people in front of me being slowpokes to get off the plane.

MSP is my home airport. You're fine.
