Compound Semiglutide -Local or Online?

2) Do the fees cover anything? Do you actually talk to a doctor or need to in order to increase/adjust dosage? I am doing this with the support and guidance of my doctor who understands many of us see the benefits of these drugs but cannot afford to pay $1,500 out of pocket for the forcible future.

Technically the fees with IVIM cover talking to a doctor but you never do. Even when I wanted a renewal I just answered some questions and they said I was approved and didn’t need to meet with anyone. I guess if you had a problem you could talk to someone.

I was doing compound via my weight loss doc. It was great. Worked well but $600/mo and weekly appointment. I decided to switch to Emerge (friend rec) which is compound tirzepatide. Mostly because I felt like I could handle it at home. They have been great. I was on 1.5 sema and they put me on 5.0 tirze. Quick onboarding and fast shipping. They offer as much or as little support as you need.

I didn't have any issues switching either.

I've been using Lavender Sky Health and getting my compound from Hallendale Pharmacy online. My PHP prescribed Zepbound but I had such a hard time getting my prescriptions filled I went the compound route to make sure I would always have my medication. It's about $500 for 2 months of medicine plus the supplies. Lavender Sky does some minor $25 or $50 charges every time I need a refill for admin but it's nothing terrible. I've had no problems with the medication and it works exactly like the Lilly pens.

Can someone explain how these places work in more detail since I’m nervous about it? I’ve been getting compound mounjaro from an expensive local weight loss clinic because my doctor wouldn’t prescribe it. Currently $1000 a month and they inject me each week.

Do I just make an appointment with ivim, tell them what I've been taking, and they’ll approve and send? So then I just inject myself? What if I think I need to move to a higher dose?

HERS is so annoying.
I am taking Tirzepatide and it works really well by my compounding pharmacy is very expensive and I can't get in touch with my dr a refill and I know that it may not be available for long.

HERS took my info and wants to send me Metformin instead. I've taken that and it didn't help at all.

So now I called customer service and canceled it but they told me to go through the process again and specify I want Tirzepatide (I did this last time too) and once again, it is sending me meds I told them do not work.

Maybe it's a glitch with my account but geez they are annoying and there are no supervisors and they really make it sound like calling is going to take forever so don't bother.

I'd find another site. HERS also really tries to sell you other products at the same time (hair loss, sleep issues ets)

Doesn’t matter. semaglutide finally came off the shortage list this week (last week?) after 2-3 years on it. Compounding it is now illegal. (And illegally compounded meds really are not safe).

It literally says the opposite in the article you linked!

"The ability of pharmacies to make their own versions of Ozempic and Wegovy is unaffected, as the FDA still considers semaglutide, the active ingredient in both drugs, to be in shortage."

OP, I use OrderlyMeds and it is 250/month regardless of dose. Shipping is no problem at all, it arrives on my doorstep in refrigerated packaging.

I use OrderlyMeds who also fill their orders through Hallendale Pharmacy and it's $250/month no matter the dosage. I've never had any additinal fees. Been on it since June.

I see an NP using MIDI and the visit is covered by my insurance. The NP sends my rx to Preston’s (they are cheaper than the pharmacy MIDI partners with).

How much do you pay at Preston’s?
