Disposable Gloves for Cooking w/Meat or Poultry

Can't you use tongs to move the chicken or 2 forks?

I do this for making meat loaf when I'm trying to integrate two kinds of ground meat. My nails grow well naturally and I don't want to be scraping food from underneath.

Yes! I do this every time I touch raw meat bacon shrimp fish etc. I use disposable powder free nitrile gloves

I do this, too. Just make sure you don't touch your spice bottles, fridge handle, etc.

I use nitrile gloves when I chop hot chiles. I’m vegan so no raw meat

Same. But I don’t use gloves for handling raw meat, only when it’s really messy like the above example

I did some research and it seemed nitrile gloves were the only types of gloves actually accepted by the recycling plants where we lived. Obviously you would probably have to look up where you live as well.

I use nitrile gloves. I have electric cars, solar, compost, don’t use paper towels, but this is the area that I use disposables. In other countries, disposable gloves are washed and reused, but I haven’t gotten there yet. I also am an MD so I guess I am numb to all the glove wastage. But now I feel bad.

I don't like microplastics all over my food. Skip the gloves

I use disposable nitrile gloves when I’m handling hot chili peppers. I don’t see why you wouldn’t use them if you want to.
