Any gym saunas where people don’t go in their full sweaty workout gear?

Nudity in the sauna has nothing to do with sex or sexual orientation. Yes, people might notice that you have a small 🍆 but, at least where I am from, they don’t care or go there because of that. The point is to let your skin breathe and that does not work so well in leggings and sneakers.

You have never been to spa world obv

Do a google search. There are a few diseases that can be transmitted through sweat. (Probably HPV is one.)

There's a sauna and steam room at Lifetime. Most people wear towels. I have never seen anyone wearing clothing in it. They require bathing suits in the hot tub, which I find strange.

I should clarify that they are part of the locker rooms so single-sex.

Thanks! Which Lifetime is it?

They all have it I believe but I'm at Rockville/Potomac. If you book an appointment at the salon (nails, hair, etc) you have full use of the facilities for the day.

I have never been to a gym sauna where people wear their clothes inside. Either naked with a towel on or a swimsuit.

So can you share which gym saunas you went to?

That is really odd that they go in fully clothed. I’m used to Swedish and Finnish saunas.
Do you have a JCC near you? The Schvitz might be more traditional

Yeah, this is how my gym sauna is. There is actually a “modesty policy” posted saying you cannot be fully nude in the sauna or hot tub.

In the sauna, there is a mix of women fully clothed in gym wear/shoes and those just wrapped in a towel and barefoot. I don’t really care though. I go wrapped in a towel and with flip flops and sit on another towel. What someone else wears doesn’t bother me. Personally, I would never go anywhere barefoot at the gym, regardless of policy.

The modesty policy is to enforce the gays to find their own Turkish baths to get off in.
