Bad Experience at Sushi-Zen in Arlington

No argument from anyone, as far as I can tell, about OP's right to be upset about the fraud by the restaurant. I do think, though, that the tip-hiking would have been less likely if OP or her DH had addressed the problem directly with management, preferably during dinner but at latest before leaving the restaurant.

Nothing like what you experience but one time when we went out to eat, the feedback card had already been filled out by the waitress and she gave herself perfect ratings and a nice comment to go with it.

this is ridiculous - the restaurant was wrong, committed fraud, stole money - off the list of places to go. try miyagi sushi in mclean, far exceeds any sushi places in the area. small, great service, great with kids and fresh d-lish food.

How do you know that the card was not filled out by the previous customer and perhaps had not yet been collected from the table?
