i would think a transwoman or lesbian teen could also wear this. what a weird distinction to make. |
| OP here, thanks for these ideas! I will run them by DD. |
You're correct that a transwoman or lesbian teen could wear this, but I think PP was clarifying if she dresses more masculine, in which case these sequined jumpsuit suggestions are probably not what she's looking for. More about style, less about sexual preferences. |
Of course, if your daughter can't dress like a teenage slut with a micro dress showing her underwear, she should just stay home. Going point PP. |
PP was making assumptions that lesbians aren't "girly" |

My cis daughter wore a slouchy suit to hoco and looked great.
Every year there’s been a girl wearing some sort of pants outfit in her group. |
Are you for real?!?!
|
|
Mine wore black palazzo pants with a rhinestone trim on the side (from Macy’s) and a one shoulder satin tank (from lulus, I think). Heels and sparkly dangly earrings. She was super comfortable and got lots of compliments.
Another year she wore a short dress (I think lulus or macys) that had a full skirt so not the micro body con which she finds very uncomfortable. |
Maybe she’s posting from Indiana? |
Not sure why it matters |
Definitely not a pantsuit. Blech! Skirt and nice top should do. |
Don't. You are too old for that look. |
Don't ask. You don't want to go down that rabbit hole. |
I’m old enough that short black shorts and dressy top makes me think of Rocky Horror Picture Show. |
| Definitely browse Lulu's for jumpsuits |
