Skylights for screened porch-- what features to include? (And how much do they increase heat?)

The porch is large enough and we have enough furniture to simply move to another spot on the porch when the sun is coming through the sky lights too intensely. I am not sure that blinds would be practical because they are so high we'd need remote control access, and then we are talking a lot of $$ to fix a minor annoyance.
