| I'm fascinated how Ikea keeps cutting quality while raising prices. Their hundred-dollar plus bookshelves are made of paper! (in my head I said that in a "soylent green is people" way) |

| There's one near me. I recently bought a strainer. My friend bought a large pink bookcase. I bought a child's blanket there. My brother bought a bookcase. I bought food storage containers there. |

I only go there when I need something specific, like storage for kids' stuff. Then I'll browse the food section and eat lunch there.
Some things if you need them: storage for kids' toys, every day drinking glasses, plastic kids' cups and bowls, towels, bath mats, and folding chairs. |

| Quality has gone down, and my expectation for furniture has gone up. You misssed the IKEA heyday. I’ve been going since the 90s (my dad was a fan, and I decorated my dorms with ikea stuff in the mid 90s). At least eat in the cafe, but the prices have gone way up. I think you can find nice glasses and white plates, kitchen stuff. The curtains we bought there recently were a terrible fabric. |
