Solo trip to Europe - 40th bday

Anonymous
Maybe just me but I don’t think I’d want to do wine tasting and hiking solo, even in a group it might be very isolating if it’s all groups that are chit chatting with each other. When I travel alone. I really like cities where I can just wander around and go to museums, sit in a cafe, pop into stores, and just walk the streets and absorb the life. All the stuff where my family gets antsy and bored before I do! Lots of people doing solo things in cities so never feels lonely. Rome or Paris would be perfect for this but I jguess you’d like someplace less obvious. If he nervous gojng too far north in late November because the days will be very short. Maybe Palermo? I haven’t been but my sister went recently and loved it. Madrid would be great or Sevilla.

Agreed !
Or Portugal, easy to get to, then Sintra and maybe the coast.

Would you want to go with a group that specializes in solo travel?
