Keep dreaming |
This doesn’t even make any sense. So high stat black students are somehow “taking up the spots” of Asian students. This ‘blame the black students’ trope is played out and getting ridiculous |
That's true for lower/middle class. |
She can't stop. |
If I were a discriminatory elite institution, I’d do this exact strategy to avoid getting sued |
There aren't enough 1500+ black students. That's the entire point behind going test optional. |
This looks awfully similar to last year's numbers. https://admissions.yale.edu/sites/default/files/2027classprofileweb.pdf |

Many students I know refuse to answer this racist question or refuse to answer it “honestly”. I’d take it with a grain of salt.
|
You don't think there's enough 1500+ SAT black students who'd want to go to Harvard... |
| Interesting no break down of religious preferences? |
| I know we're taking grains and salts, since it isn't official from Yale Admissions, but this supports that Yale wasn't heavy on the AA, and they do admissions by merit. |
Why can't they just differentiate as 'two or more races'? This is not a good way to present the data. |
This is a pretty typical way demographic data is presented. Official university announcements are done this way and will have a small notice that the percentages will be above 100% |
In general? Agreed. But enough to fill a few seats at Yale? Yes, there actually are |
Sorry to break it to you but Asians don’t corner the market in intelligence. |
