Lol. |
Silvestre's job is to get more students into MC. Closing MVA caused MCPS to point more students to MC. Coincidence? |
Your tinfoil hat is a little tight. |
It's the only plausible explanation for why she'd force the other board members to kill off MVA. |
How is this wrong? MC has a virtual program. If virtual is so bad, why is that ok for MCPS students to take classes virtually through MC? Many HS kids are forced to go to MC due to the lack of advanced classes at their high schools. The MVA could have offered these classes directly, giving MCPS more opportunities for advanced classes for cheaper and kept it on the HS schedule. |
I think MC is one reason, but for what ever reason she's against virtual. It wasn't about money. The cost was minimal and MCPS was almost fully funded and received more money this year than in previous years. She is trying to also detract from her irresponsible management. |
No MC has been crashing for years |
Pointe a fly, they need the money and a huge chunk comes from mcps. |
Sorry, that’s the point, sorry. |
| Vote sensibly this Nov so we don't have any more shitshow in public education. |
Except there aren't sensible candidates to vote for. |
Not a fan of any of the candidates but will not vote for a current sitting member. |
There's nothing so bad that it couldn't be worse. Case in point: Laura Stewart. I'm no fan of Evans, but she's certainly the lesser evil. |
