How does Jlo look so good at 55?

I bet she's had a subtle deep plane face lift. 99.9% of the time celebrities who look weirdly young (they look 35 and they're 55) but still have the "charming" parts of aging (the eye crinkles, etc) have had an early facelift.

Facelifts of 2024 are not your facelifts of 20 years ago (stretched skin, pulled to the ears). They're now in the deep plane of the face and actually reposition the muscles, layer by layer, millimeter by millimeter. These lifts aren't intended to last a lifetime but are procedures that stop the aging process for maybe 5 years. They're ridiculously expensive so it's really only celebrities that can (and do) spend the money for them (knowing that they'll be doing another adjustment in 5 years).

Yeah I think Gwyneth Paltrow had one as well

Definitely! Reese did too. There was one series I was watching..maybe it was 'little fires everywhere' and her face was looking slack and then a period of time where jawline was tight again and she looked brighter.

Pretty much every celeb by 50 has had a mini lift. They look natural and don't 'change' your appearance---it's fillers that distort the face and over-doing botox.

Jen A and Sandy B, too. They were photographed at a plastic surgeon's office in CT.

She has always been very fit. Careful diet and meticulous skincare along with everything else money can buy.

Reese is my age (48). That's a lot of wrinkles for someone who has the money to slow aging down.

She may not have hit menopause yet.

Honestly, Jlo looks much older than 55. Maybe the stress/alcohol/drugs of Hollywood ages people much faster than people age in the real world.

Yes. Nobody retains a tight jaw line after 50+ without surgical intervention.

Her skin looks dry (maybe low estrogen) but pretty taut.

I think she looks great, but her cheeks look a little deflated like maybe she's on a low dose of Ozempic?

I think Jen A - too many fillers. Sandy B - facelift. Nicole K - both and looks awful

Extensions, color, highlights, keratin, supplements etc etc are keeping it look okay enough.
