Maybe $30 on average? Rav4 Hybrid, both work mostly from home (the one that has some in-office time uses public transportation). Use the car for Costco and Home Depot trips (maybe 2/month total), quick pickup and dropoff from school (about a mile each way), occasional visits to friends and family in MD and VA, and about 3 or 4 driving trips per year.

I never know what gas costs, I just filll up on every third or fourth Costco run. It's lovely.

That's a lot of driving in my book. I did 17k in 5 years.
My car is there for convenience. Not driving it a lot has kept my car expense very low.

Honda Odyssey, about 2 tanks a month. Each time is about 18 gallons x whatever 87 octane is when I buy gas. I think most recently it was about $55 to fill up at Costco.

Are single family houses available there? Are these like many offers, overbids and waived inspections? Looking for a place less dense that's easy to get a single family.
