I had a co-worker who drove a turquoise minivan in the mid 90s--remember that turquoise color that was really popular back then? Or maybe it was "teal." I was actually just talking about that with my husband a few days ago, how dated that color would look now. |
| Another one here who loves blue cars. I would do blue, silver, gray or black before white. White minivans and SUVs always look like refrigerators to me. |
| White cars are easier to see in twilight. |
| I must be old because some times I have a hard time seeing black/dark grey cars driving on the road. They blend into the pavement and I can’t tell how fast they are going and sometimes they appear out of nowhere! Same with silver cars, in certain lighting, they blend into the clouds in the sky. So I would definitely get white to ensure visibility to other drivers. |
Agree with this comment. I had a white car when I first moved to Florida and then later on, a dark green car. There was no difference in temperature when getting into the cars. |
I saw a teal Honda at the dealership. I am sad that 80% of cars are greyscale now, but I’m part of that trend because no one wants color in my family but me. https://www.iseecars.com/most-popular-car-colors-study |
