Quoting myself here. OP, Get wrecked with your friends. It won’t set you back at all. 10 or 20 years from now when you are still on your wellness path it won’t make a difference how much BBQ you ate or how many soda pops you had. What will matter is you will remember you had a great unencumbered weekend with your buddies. By the age of 68, one of them may now longer be with us. |
I can't eat a lot after months of avoiding overeating and eating "clean". My stomach gets smaller, and cannot handle the grease of a fatty meal - I get a stomach-ache if I eat too much crap in one sitting. So I think you should plan on continuing your exercise routine on your trip, and maybe the food will take care of itself? |
You don’t need to restrict beforehand. Do it after your trip. Enjoy it.
I’ve done that for the holidays. Eat a lot and then just eat less for a few days after. |
