I don’t think they are promoting the terrorist attacks by some members of Hamas.

It sounds like they are supporting the Palestinians who are fighting against the genocide that Israel is committing.

The allegation of "genocide" is untrue. Cynically invoking antisemitic blood libel to provide rhetorical cover for terrorism is... exactly the kind of behavior that makes a candidate unsuitable for a hate crimes commission.

Who is cynically invoking the blood libel?

Is it the person trying to stop tens of thousands of people from being starved to death or the person who is trying to stop discussion of that?

Characterizing the situation as a genocide is inflammatory and untrue - it’s a war. A war started and now perpetuated by Hamas. These are terrorists who will not stop attacking Jews in Israel or elsewhere. They don’t want peace, they want Jihad and their people pay the price. This guy was antisemitic and unabashedly so.

It is so easy to just not talk about Jewish people. In my 45 years of life I have never said to myself well I need to make this comment or statement about Jewish people, in private or publicly.

It's hard for a hate crimes commissioner to not talk about a war of colonization and obliteration. If Jews didn't commit crimes, it would be easier to talk talk about Jews.

Literally the IHRA definition of anti-semitism which people have been trying to get adopted by US institutions says that no matter what Israel is doing to the population Gaza *any* comparison of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis is anti-semitic.

I’m not here to defend anyone in particular, bit I would note some Israelis were killed by friendly fire, and the Israeli army actually issued orders that if possible Israelis should be shot rather than be allowed to taken hostage.

And given what’s gone on at Sde Teiman I’m not sure “we raped them with hot metal rods but we didn’t harvest their organs after they died” is quite the winning argument you seem to think it is.

Because some Israeli guards committed a heinous act thousand of miles away it is now impossible to find a Muslim leader in America who doesn't spout antisemitic vitriol. /s

Not pc but there is a major problem of antisemitism in the Muslim world. Just search for the Arabic or Urdu word for Jew , يهود on x and you’ll see how they use it as an insult . Calling even other Muslims Jews if they have a gripe with them .
