Have hard shells, soft shells, and extra lettuce for those who want to make a salad. Could also have tortilla scoops for nacho makers.

Do not do this

It never works out never enough food

Not the PP but I’ve done this a ton of times and it’s always been plenty.

I’ve also done ground beef, 3 packages of cooked taco rice, dump a container of pico and stir until warm. Put shredded taco cheese on top until melted. Plop some on a plate and eat with chips - sour cream and guac on side.

Grill BBQ chicken legs and thighs
Make a giant hoagie on a large Italian loaf and cut into 2” sections

Great suggestions!

Tortilla soup. I make it in the slowcooker and it's super easy.

Here’s what I did last night:

Sautee two pounds of ground beef with chopped garlic and salt, add a jar of bertollis or raps, serve over pasta with Parmesan cheese

Here’s what I’ll do tonight. Smash canned black beans, spread on tortilla, shred cheddar over, over with tortilla. Lightly fry in olive oil and serve with guac, salsa, chopped tomatos.

Someone on here suggested those kings Hawaiin ham and cheese sandwiches where you bake the whole pan together which also seems good but I guess not everyone likes ham.

Frozen taquitos from Costco or grocery store. Beans on side. Could do Spanish rice on side if you have the flavoring pack.

If I have fruit I’ll put that out too, or carrots, but I find most of them won’t eat veggies.

Wing stop or Popeyes

In summer grilled hamburgers and hotdogs. Sometimes we set up the fire pit and they just grill hot dogs over the fire. S’mores for dessert. They love doing that.
Tacos are popular. I keep taco meat in the freezer, then just need to put out toppings.
Same with meatballs. I make big batches of meatballs and sauce for the freezer. Heat them up, offer provolone cheese, onions, peppers, hot sauce and they are happy.

Fajitas. Just make sure you have some sauteed peppers and onions separate from the meat for the vegetarians. Have plenty of cheese, guac, and pico on the side

BBQ chicken or pork sliders.

I always ask——I would offer DIY sushi, Thai curry, DIY spring rolls, DIY hummus and veg wraps. Maybe all of above. Then they can make their own.

Let them make their own pizza. Make the dough ahead of time and saute peppers and onions, provide mushrooms, vegan and regular mozz and parm, pesto, pizza sauce.

The Hawaiian roll sliders work with any combination. Turkey or roast beef work instead of ham. You can also do a few different cheeses and no meat.

Chili is always well received. Either traditional or traditional and white chili or vegetarian. You can serve with cornbread, tortilla chips, etc.

I do this pretty often, to serve the army of teen boys who seem to camp out at my house.

BBQ chicken is easy and a big hit too.

I love to make nachos! Bed of nachos, melt cheese, top with fresh tomato, cilantro, white onion, salsa, avocado/guac, sour cream etc (you get the idea).

Always a hit and so easy!
