American Heritage is really good. Something like a third of the graduating class was NMSF or Commended. |

Have friends at Pinecrest and NBP, all very happy for different reasons. Pinecrest is stronger academically, and attracts all NE transplants looking for a Sidwell-like community and environment. NBP is more holistic and friendly, I'd say fewer people from NYC there. |

| Just one major point about American Heritage: They give “scholarships” to many kids who do well on their entrance tests, and thus many, i mean MANY students are on “Financial Aid”. Most of the kids therefore don’t have a “preppy” background and just are semi smart poor kids that couldn’t afford to go if not for scholarships. I personally think it’s not worth it if you’re full pay, the classes are huge and feels like a public school for the reason mentioned above. |
