Had an adult family member who did in-patient at Suburban and didn’t have a great experience due to the staff. Granted, this was a while ago. This patient’s profile is a bit complicated because they later turned out to have Parkinson’s. The treatment-resistant depression may have been the prodromal stage of the disease. I hear great things about the Georgetown program. A friend with a personality disorder and treatment-resistant depression and another friend with bipolar felt the program gave them a lot of help with getting stabilized. |
