Ohhhh I actually think Richmond will do well (better) next year especially the 2012 and 2011.

EG who was the assistant last year stepped up to take the role. It's been well received is what I heard.

Hopefully Arlington has found a long term solution with her there. Just been a lot of turnover in the last couple of years.

A lot of potential for that club if they get stable.

I don’t know. I think they are more or less to similar with other clubs.

2012 - good team. Will probably qualify for playoffs
2011 - great team. Will continue to succeed
2010 - they haven’t been doing well for years. Missing good offensive players.
2009 - middle of the table
2008 - maybe make a comeback and make playoffs assuming if everyone is healthy
2007 - kids will get places in good colleges but probably cuz of their academic profiles

Other clubs in the are are probably in the same boat being different age groups being strong and some aren’t great.

EG alone can’t change the club.

2012 age group is loaded. NVA, Union, CSA, Courage, Arlington, VDA will all push for playoffs. Will be tough with only the top 4 qualifying.

Probably add Richmond to that group and take out VDA.

Every time a VDA team is mentioned, someone gets on this board and tells them to take them out. So salty!

Arlington 2012 will definitely be a top half team but this age group really is loaded. Everybody is good.

I think the talent is just more spread out compared to other years. And that’s not even including some of the SYC girls that stayed there. Everyone seems good at U13 until some actually make it to nationals and then find out what good really is.

Why would 06/07 be 11 or 12? 07s were 9 last year and add a number of 06 D-1s.

Because they’re not very good and other teams have better players coming down.

Arlington 06s also were not strong.

2008: 6th/7th - can’t see them rebounding that much.
2011: 1st/2nd - Nobody in the area got better

Every team adds 06 D-1’s this year. Leave it to Arlington parents to include the division of the players coming down.

You just used d-1 in your post. Why?

Dumb newb schedule question. If the team is listed first on the ecnl draft schedule are they the away or home?

Don’t feed the VDA dad troll. He posted this on the newly created VDA thread he started along with the other 3 new NOVA ECNL threads:

VDA Prediction by Age:

2008: 1st/2nd
2009: 1st
2010: 2nd/3rd
2011: 4th/5th
2012: 5th/6th
