OP here. Because everything here is a mess. I don’t think the director even knows my position is classified as remote. She doesn’t know about the 60 mile radius rule.

I’ve worked in the private sector and I’ve worked in a couple different branches of government. I’m having a hard time getting a hold of my situation right now.

Forward the e-mail to your boss and say. Boss I would like to speak about this. As you know I am classified remote and this was an important consideration of me accepting the job.
