It is a free service... keeping that in mind it is not bad for grammar and structure review.

I’m a teacher. High school social studies. And I’ve taught over 1000 English lessons on preply.

If your kid has trouble writing I can help.

If your kid writes well and is aiming for Harvard I can’t help.

Any specific names other than the one mentioned above?

My son took a class and finished his essay but feels it isn't really right.

Would love a top notch essay coach to take a look at it.

Bluebook Essays were great with my daughter. They brainstorm together. Kid actually writes it. Then they assist with editing etc. they were very careful not to write it and get the student to be the sole owner. Very pleased. And I thought value for the money.

I wish kids had to disclose if they had paid essay help. Such an unfair advantage for the wealthy.

I think admission readers are savy enough to know who has had assistance and who did the effort by themselves.

My kids used, and liked, bluepencilessays and the College Essay Guy. The College Essay guy has a lot of free content - we reviewed that before signing up.

My daughter used bluepencilessays for a one-pass review of her near-final essay drafts. Very helpful!

Wrong.

All of the NYT published essays had essay help.

Same for UVA.

There are tell-take signs.

AO want a good story.

Saw someone this week on AN mentioned that Sara’s edited essay for her kid got it published as a “best of” college essay in NYT.

So yes, agree.

You must not be very good then.

Many students who write well and are "aiming for Harvard" could use the support that a good developmental editor can give them -- especially an editor who focuses on helping the student find the stories that will strongly communicate who they are and what they dream of.

College counselor here. My students who are "aiming for Harvard" and actually have a chance don't need any help with their writing.

Don't be ridiculous.

Or here’s a thought, tell your kid to use their brain and write their own essay. It’s not that hard.
